James Schwab told the San Francisco Chronicle on Monday that top officials repeatedly said roughly 800 immigrants escaped arrest because Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff’s Feb. 24 warning about the four-day operation.

Schwab says the statements were misleading because the agency never captures everyone on its target lists.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he had learned the agency failed to make 800 arrests because of the mayor’s warning.

The federal agency’s acting director, Thomas Homan, said Schaaf’s warning caused about 800 “criminals” to elude capture,

Schwab says the statements were misleading because the agency never captures everyone on its target lists.

"Dailymail" shows a picture of James Schwab clearly different than this one, stating also that he was an Obama era appointee. The actual ICE claim is that of 864 targets "some of them were able to elude us thanks to the mayor's irresponsible decision". The word "some" could be as little as 2 (maybe even 1), so it is hard to imagine how out of 864, one or two did not escape because of the mayor's warning.

And an interesting point made by the site:
> In fiscal year 2017, ICE arrested 20,201 people across the state, Schwab said. Of those, he said, 81 percent had criminal convictions.

What exactly are you the Shomer of? Certainly not of guarding that your inane anti-Trump diatribes, and your fear mongering and Liberal agenda should have even a kernel of truth.
