Philadelphia, PA - Starbucks’ CEO says he wants to apologize personally to the black men arrested at one of his Philadelphia stores, prompting accusations of racism on social media .

Kevin Johnson posted a lengthy statement Saturday night, calling the situation “disheartening” and that it led to a “reprehensible” outcome.

Videos posted online show police handcuffing the two men Thursday. Philadelphia’s police commissioner said Starbucks employees called 911 to say the men were trespassing. He said officers did nothing wrong and the men refused to leave, leading to the arrest.

Johnson said it was wrong for the store to call police and he will make any “necessary changes to our practices” and “you should expect more from us.”

He said he’ll be joining Philadelphia’s regional Starbucks manager in the coming days.

They may be right, but if Millions of Black people will start boycotting Starbucks, due their racial profiling, They will have a serious financial problem.

I assume that Starbucks will settle this soon, so they avoid a lengthy lawsuit which could anger their Black customers.

Something my dear brothers and in Brooklyn don't seem to understand is that Jews would get the same treatment. Fighting for civil rights is fighting for our own rights.

I suppose it costs thousands of dollars to arrest someone. It seems to me a citation would have been the better way to go.

The difference? You don't have to wear your Jewishness on your skin. Blacks can't "pass" as white, not that they should have to.
