Brooklyn, NY – Police in the Borough Park area are on the alert after a ten year old Orthodox Jewish girl woke up this morning to find a stranger in her bed.

The incident took place this morning on 39th Street near 15th Avenue shortly after 3 AM.
The NYPD reported that the girl and her 14 year old sister were both sleeping in their shared first floor bedroom when the ten year old woke up and found the unidentified man lying in bed next to her, covering her face with his hands.
The girl was grabbed by the man when she tried to move and she began to scream, waking up her older sister, who also began screaming.
The intruder, who had partially undressed, fixed his clothing and fled through an open window in the girls’ bedroom in an unknown direction. Sources told VIN News that the girl was not physically harmed in any way.
Police are continuing their investigation and said that they believe the man entered the house through the same window he used for his escape. No description of the suspect has been released at this time.
