Washington – CNN: Doctor Says Trump Dictated Glowing 2015 Health Report

Washington – A letter from Donald Trump’s New York physician released by his campaign in 2015 declaring he would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” was composed by the candidate himself, the doctor said on Tuesday.

“He dictated that whole letter. I didn’t write that letter,” Harold Bornstein told CNN.

Bornstein was not immediately available to comment, but in a subsequent interview with NBC News he confirmed the account.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.

“Mr. Trump has had a recent complete medical examination that showed only positive results,” said the letter signed by Bornstein, who said he had treated Trump since 1980.

“Actually, his blood pressure, 110/65, and laboratory results were astonishingly excellent. His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary,” the letter said. “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”

Bornstein told NBC News the characterization of “healthiest” was “black humor.”

Trump read out the language as Bornstein and his wife were driving across Central Park, the doctor told CNN. The campaign released the letter in December 2015.

“(Trump) dictated the letter and I would tell him what he couldn’t put in there,” he said.Bornstein had previously said he had written the letter in a rush while seeing other patients.

His latest version of the letter’s origins follows his accusation that Trump’s ex-bodyguard Keith Schiller raided his office while retrieving Trump’s medical records after he was elected president.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters on Tuesday that the records were retrieved as part of “standard operating procedure.”

“As is standard operating procedure for a new president, the White House Medical Unit took possession of the president’s medical records,” she told a regular news briefing.

Asked if the operation was a raid, she said: “No, that is not my understanding.”

If he signed it he had to consider it a true statement of trump’s health.

Much ado about nothing. Doctors are not writers. He asked the Donald to write it up and he’d sign it. The letter contained actual facts based on results of physical. Doc verified content before signing. Every little thing having to do with Trump is being turned into a major production. Bout time we let him do the job of running the country instead of having him focus on nonsense after nonsense.

The Candy man should be thrown out of the White House Medical unit, and retired from the US Navy. In addition to the allegations of him being drunk while on the job, crashing a government vehicle while drunk, prescribing numerous opiods (sometimes without examining a patient), screaming at staff, creating a hostile work environment, and lying about the Donald’s health, there are new revelations which have come to light. Now, it appears that he violated the medical privacy laws of the wife of the Vice President of the United States, by revealing a medical condition of hers with White House staff, against her wishes. Trump must fire that controversial “Doctor” now. Incidentally, if Admiral Jackson was so great, why didn’t Trump take him back as his personal Physician. He has been banished to a back room of the White House, where he is pushing a pen. Incidentally, the denials of the Secret Serevice regarding Jackson’s actions, mean bupkis. Previously, the Secret Service denied that a fence jumper had actually penetrated the White House. In fact, two years ago, a fence jumper not only penetrated the White House, but beat up a female Secret Service Agent in the White House.

It was obvious at the time that Trump influenced the language of the letter. Ultimately not important but Trump’s penchant for hyperbole (healthiest President ever) is weird.

To #15 - None of the allegations which I raised, have been debunked. Anything that the Secret Service tells us, cannot always be believed. For example, when Obama went to Israel in 2013, someone on the staff of the Secret Service pumped the wrong type of fuel into one of his limos, ruining the engine. To this date, the Secret Service has never revealed who was responsible for that foul-up, how much money it cost the taxpayers, if the limo was ever repaired, and if anyone was ever disciplined for that error. As I previously mentioned, the Secret Service lied about an earlier intrusion, whereby someone jumped over the White House fence, and made it into the White House. The Secret Service alarms did not go off, nor did their dogs pursue that individual. The miscreant beat up a female Secret Service agent, half his size, in the White House. He was finally arrested. However, the Secret Service tried to cover that incident up, as they have tried to cover up misdeeds of their agents on the road, including bar fights with civilians, while off duty.
To #16 - I was not being critical of Trump. However, he should get rid of Admiral Jackson, as Jackson is too controversial, and a distraction.
