Kew Gardens Hills, NY - Vivid footage has emerged showing clear images of an individual sought by the NYPD in connection with the ruthless attack on a woman just down the block from Aaron’s Kissena Farms, a kosher supermarket in Kew Gardens Hills.

Video shows the suspect riding the Q44-SBS bus which runs along Main Street and has a stop just half a mile from the crime scene at 7:40 AM on the morning of April 30th.  The suspect, an African American man with black hair and brown eyes, is wearing a black and olive green jacket, a grey hoodie, a black Houston Rockets cap with a red bill and red pants in the footage, and can be seen yawning, rubbing his eyes and using his cell phone in the 55 second clip.

As previously reported on VIN News (http://bit.ly/2FIUtqz), a 52 year old woman was beaten beyond recognition on 72nd Road near Kissena Boulevard after dropping her child off at school just after 8:30 AM this past Monday morning.

Assemblyman Daniel Rosenthal said that the normally tranquil Kew Gardens Hills is still reeling from the barbaric crime, a rare event in the typically safe neighborhood.

“It was a horrific attack that happened in broad daylight and the community is very shaken,” Rosenthal told VIN News.  “The NYPD has been working tirelessly around the clock and we ask everyone to please look at the pictures and video, and if they see or recognize this man to speak up.”

The NYPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the attack.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline by phone at 800-577-TIPS, by text at 247637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577 or online at www.NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
