The first incident happened on Monday, May 7th at around 3:05 p.m. at the corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 58 Street in Borough Park.

The Boy was approached by a man who asked if he wanted ice cream. When the boy refused and attempted to walk away, the man grabbed him by his bookbag and held him there, police said.

The boy attempted to bite the man, at which point he released the child and ran away, in an unknown direction.

Two days later, a 10-year-old boy was walking home from school when he was approached by a man police believe to be the same suspect.

He allegedly grabbed the boys arm at the corner of 53rd Street and Seventh Avenue in Sunset Park.

The child tried to kick the suspect, who released his hold on the child and fled on foot, according to police.

Both children were unharmed fighting off the grabber.

The suspect is described as an Asian male adult, approximately 5’9″ tall, weighing 180 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket with white sleeves, a multi-colored shirt, dark colored jeans and brown sandals.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Or visit the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM

It’s so refreshing when government programs work so well and their success is so publicly paraded. I’m talking about the literacy programs as well as the mental health programs. Both have been so demonstratively capitalized on here on Vosizneias. Of course, the Rebbes look upon any attempt to enhance secular studies as a waste of time and they have only to point to the erudite and scholarly comments, anonymously posted, on VINNEWS. Makes me so proud to be a part of this tribe.

I’m wondering if the moderator might be asleep at the wheel. My guess is that he is a new guy and is only semi-literate.

I used to pick up my kid personally at the bus stop. The streets are not safe and I am going back years. The police come after the fact!! What good is that!! All they do is drink coffee and eat donuts!!
