    “So many people at the higher ends of intelligence loved my press conference performance in Helsinki. Putin and I discussed many important subjects at our earlier meeting. We got along well which truly bothered many haters who wanted to see a boxing match. Big results will come!” he said on Twitter.

    “While the NATO meeting in Brussels was an acknowledged triumph, with billions of dollars more being put up by member countries at a faster pace, the meeting with Russia may prove to be, in the long run, an even greater success. Many positive things will come out of that meeting,” he tweeted.

    Trump sought on Tuesday to calm the storm over what critics said was his failure to hold Putin accountable for what U.S intelligence agencies said was meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, saying he misspoke in the joint news conference in Helsinki.

    Trump on Monday shied away from criticizing the Russian leader for Moscow’s actions to undermine the election and cast doubt on U.S. intelligence agencies, prompting calls by some U.S. lawmakers for tougher sanctions and other actions to punish Russia. Putin denies any Russian interference in the vote.

    “I said the word ‘would’ instead of ‘wouldn’t,'” Trump told reporters at the White House, more than 24 hours after his appearance with Putin. “The sentence should have been, ‘I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be Russia.'”

    Trump hailed last week’s NATO summit in Europe as victory for his tough stance of demanding the United States’ European allies make big new defense spending pledges.

    big results will come

    Yes why not. Why should Russia be our enemy? They are no longer the evil soviets torturing its citznes and seeking to invade the world like the USSR. They are still very very very sneaky. And we better watch out from that snake. But our eveil communist enemy??? That’s gone.

    And let be debunk some silly myths.
    Collusion= opposition research
    Mingling= something we did to latin America and Israel. Standard procedure. Besides those FB ads were a joke. Nobody looks at that nonsense
    Hacking into DNC- sure that’s bad. But it was in a way crucial. Someone needed to show the public that the elections were rigged. The public had a right to know that crooked Hillary got the debate questions beforehand. I call that cheating. And yes its wrong to hack and we need to ensure that doesn’t happen. But is that warfare , an attack?? Come on get real.

    We forgot what old soviet Russia was like. We forgot the ruthelessness. We forgot the missle crisis when we almost got blown up.

    Like the amoral psychopath that he is, Traitor Trumpf thinks that if he keeps repeating the same mantra of doublespeak lies, he may end up believing it himself. Vacuous nothingburger statements like ‘so many people’, ‘everybody loved it’, ‘I’m told that’, etc., are prime indicators of his bizarre child-like narcissism. Any real negotiator can run rings around this Yutz, especially his Russian handler, KGB Pootinovsky. FEH.

    Educated Archy, Putin is a ruthless former KGB agent. His opponents are mysteriously murdered. He has even attempted to poison people in Britain.
    Even if Clinton got the questions ahead of time, how does that justify having a foreign espionage agency hack into anyone’s computers? It’s interesting to note that the Russians acted immediately after Trump asked them to find Clinton’s Emails.
    Putin out conned America’s most celebrated con artist.
