Brooklyn, NY – Police Release Photo Of Suspect In Yom Kippur Groping Of BP Girl

    Brooklyn, NY – Once again, the NYPD is turning to the public for assistance in locating a suspect who groped a nine year old girl in the waning hours of Yom Kippur.

    Police said that the girl was playing outside near 60th Street and 17th Avenue at approximately 6:45 PM on September 19th when she saw a man heading in her direction.

    The girl moved out of the way to let the man pass and as he did, he grabbed her buttocks and then fled on 17th Avenue towards 59th Street.

    A surveillance camera photo released by the NYPD show the suspect as a Hispanic man, approximately 5’7” tall and weighing 170 pounds, dressed in a red baseball cap, a light grey t-shirt and jeans, dark shoes and a backpack.

    Police are treating the incident as sexual abuse.
