Washington – A tentative agreement has been reached for the Senate Judiciary Committee to hear testimony Thursday from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the woman accusing him of sexual assault from decades ago.

That’s according to a person briefed on the matter who isn’t authorized to discuss it by name.
The person says that lawyers for Christine Blasey Ford and bipartisan representatives of the committee came to the tentative agreement Saturday. Other terms of the public hearing will be negotiated Sunday.
The tentative accord could close days of brinkmanship over whether Ford would testify.
Ford alleges Kavanaugh assaulted her at a party when they were teens. Now an appeals court judge, Kavanaugh denies the allegations. He has said he wants to testify as soon as possible to clear his name.

Archy, you’re forgetting to mention that the proposed judge denied this ever happened. I suspect that he was too drunk at the time to have any memory of his attempted rape.

Explain
1) this charge wasn’t pursued for 30 years.
2) there is no record of Ford mentioning this to anyone, other than decades later to a therapist when she had marital problems, and we don’t even know if she had a name.
3) the one person who was there according to Ford- mr judge, denied it happened.
4) 35 people who know Kavenough claim and signed this is totally out of character. And he wouldn’t do something like this. Hi sorry female clerks claim he treated them with dignity.
5) Feinstein who had the letter since July only released it at the end
6) Feinstein is still not sharing the document with members of her own committee. No one has seen it.
7) why does Ford need time to prepare for her testimony. Truth needs no preparation.
So now I ask you why are you assuming automatically he is guilty.
