Pelosi, who stands to become speaker if her party captures the chamber, ticked off a legislative to-do list including lowering health care costs, spearheading a national infrastructure plan and pushing for changes to campaign finance laws.
The California Democrat said she wasn’t worried about Democrats campaigning for the House in part by opposing her as speaker, telling candidates: “Do whatever you have to do, just win, baby.”
Pelosi made the comments Tuesday at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School.
Pelosi also says she wants the public to know what instructions investigators may have received from President Donald Trump regarding the scope of the FBI probe into Brett Kavanaugh.
Just like they were confident Hillary would win. We are tired of Democrats stealing our money and doing nothing good for this country.
Go trump!
You were confident Hillary would be prez too . Nothing is guaranteed honey
Let’s pray she’s wrong
It would be a huge surprise if they do not take the House. Of course, elections often produce huge surprises.
i sure hope you’re wrong democrats are evil scum as are their supporters
and we’re confident the Repubicans will win. How do
I guess that means she gave up on winning the senate.
The only thing that’s guaranteed if G-d forbid dems win the House, there will be nothing but continued and increased obstruction of all Trump’s policies, successes…. they have no agenda, aren’t offering any policy changes, just Trump-hate is all they’re running on, and their very unintelligent base are too stupid to understand how incredibly well the country is doing under Trump. Sickos.
