Robert Gosselin, a resident of the Borough of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, was arrested by the Police Department of the City of Montreal (SPVM) Thursday, after the authorities had received several anonymous reports over his postings on the web site Journal de Montreal.

In one of his postings, Gosselin said “eliminate Jews by killing an entire school of Jewish girls”

Threatening is punishable by imprisonment for up to eighteen months, according to the Canadian Criminal Code.

The 55-year-old man, who does not have a criminal record, was freed with a $ 500 bond.
