Washington – President Donald Trump tied the success of the faltering stock market to the election in a tweet Tuesday, suggesting that if the Democrats prevail on Nov. 6 it could mean more losses.

“If you want your Stocks to go down, I strongly suggest voting Democrat. They like the Venezuela financial model, High Taxes & Open Borders!” the president said in his Twitter feed.
typical fear-mongering. Stocks are about break-even on the year and Trump has had both houses of Congress. Moreover, he has exhibited over and over again that he does not understand the market. Also, the tariffs are not helping because the first rule of the market is that uncertainty causes panic.
Of course, his followers will take his word for it. He should stick with immigration and law and order if he wants to help his candidates.

1987 2008 and 2018 All Republican Presidents caused Stock market crash. Plain and simple.
History shows that Stocks historically rise when the Republicans control the House.
Stocks rose when Republicans controlled the House under Clinton, Obama and Trump. They fall when the dems control the house.
