Sure, he’s influential. But is Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg among the most influential? Not anymore, by one measure. Time has left the billionaire mayor off its list of the 100 Most Influential People for 2009 — a slight for a man who relishes his status as a titan of business, politics, philanthropy, public health and environmental sustainability.

The mayor made the list in 2008, when Time called him “visionary” and praised his “boundless energy.”
This year, however, it tossed him into a large pile of aspiring “finalists” that includes Sam Zell, the job-cutting owner of the Tribune Company, and Jonathan Krohn, the 14-year-old homeschooled conservative who wowed the audience at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference.

Just a thought…….. If a poll were put together to list the most influential magazines would Time be on it? What is it that would possibly put Time on the list? Is it possible that editors at Time influence the world by enticing people in power to work towards getting their name listed on a Time poll such as the one written about? Does the fact that a persons name is listed or delisted alter their personal morals or public policies? Does Bloomberg care? Just a thought……

Just a thought …..I can’t believe that the poster #3 and poster #4 are not drunk with havdalah wine. How can any jew HOPE that another Jew who has benefitted many jewish causes through his charity work has a downfall. Why would any person HOPE that another person has a downfall? Beyond me. Just a thought…..

Mr. Bloomberg became so interested in two things that he forgot his focus of long ago. Now he interested in running for a third term and in making NYC the worst place to own a car or a house. His ridiculous and constant tax and ticket fines hikes are forcing thousands to run away. I can’t wait to vote against him when he runs.
