Jerome Corsi said Monday that the prosecutors were trying to entice him to lie to a grand jury and threatened to indict him.

Corsi is an associate of former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone.

Mueller’s investigators are trying to determine whether Corsi and Stone had advance knowledge of WikiLeaks’ plans to release hacked material damaging to Hillary Clinton’s presidential effort.

Corsi has released documents showing prosecutors offered him a deal to plead guilty to a false statements charge. He’s rejected the deal and says he didn’t knowingly mislead investigators.

The Justice Department didn’t immediately respond to a comment request.

Interesting maneuver. Now prosecutors have to prove that what they were trying to get him to say is the truth. Puts the burden back on them.

That is standard procedure by prosecutors. This is not an investigation, it is a prosecution. So there is no presumption of any kind of fairness or any kind of seeking the truth. That is why he is called a special prosecutor instead of a special investigator. And that is why every last one of the special prosecutors in living memory have been a really expensive disaster.

Last week Corpsi was interviewed on TV. He admitted trumpie had real estate deals in Russia during the Campaign. Then he said trumpie’s gang was trying to get dirt on Hillary via wikileaks and Russia. ‘Doesn’t everybody’ he said. So no need to be forced to lie. He spewed his guts on TV. Corpsi is in deep doodoo like the rest of the cruds w team trumpie. FEH
