(AP Photo/Matt Rourke)Washington – President Donald Trump is defending the hush money payments made by his former lawyer to two women during his 2016 campaign as “a simple private transaction.” He tweeted Monday that if there was wrongdoing, it’s lawyer Michael Cohen’s “liability” and not his.

Federal prosecutors said in a court filing Friday that Cohen “acted with the intent to influence the 2016 presidential election” and at the direction of Trump when he brokered deals to stop women from going public about their alleged affairs with Trump.

Trump has argued that the payments — which he first denied knowledge of — weren’t campaign contributions because his own money and not campaign funds were used for the payments.

But federal law requires disclosure of payments made “for the purposes of influencing” an election.

“acted with the intent to influence the 2016 presidential election”

And when Hillary lied to the public about her medical condition (as did Kennedy in his election days) she did that also to influence the 2016 presidential election. And undoubtedly money was paid to her doctor and medical aids and medicines etc etc etc all to bamboozle the people about her medical condition in order to influence the 2016 presidential election. In fact, the entire campaign of every person running for office is to influence the election.

This “influence the 2016 presidential election” is nothing but a meaningless mantra.

Men will be men. He is neither the first nor last to succumb to an itch. But why are the bimbos getting a free pass? They collected a sizable amount of hush money, then squealed, reneging on the agreements they signed. They’re the ones who should be ostracized, investigated and prosecuted and made to return the money they collected under false pretense.

Once again another fake news accusation. Are the facts true? yes . But the implication is that somehow the voters didn’t know about Trump’s adultery and had they known things would have differed. Like really??? Did anyone not know about Trump after Billi Bush? Was there any doubts? Come on guys get real. Who didn’t know about Trump’s lovely morals on Nov 6th? The voters decided we want him anyhow. And please don’t telll me oh this is about campaign finance violations, an obscure misdemeanor that even dems admit are small crimes at best.
