Washington – After squabbling about a border wall with Democratic leaders in front of reporters, President Donald Trump is now saying that the private part of their meeting was “very friendly.”

He said at a bill signing Tuesday afternoon that after reporters left the morning meeting with Democratic Senate and House leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, they all had a good discussion.
Trump said: “Believe it or not, I think it was a very friendly meeting. You just saw the beginning of it.”
He went on to say that he has liked the two Democrats for a long time.
The president says he doesn’t mind taking the blame for a government shutdown if the two sides can’t agree on funding for border improvements.
Why do you just publish Trump’s lies, without telling your readers that they are lies? The meeting was a disaster for Trump.

Besides the Wall that Mexico won’t pay a centavo for, Deranged Donald is pushing to kill the Clean Water Act and Interior Dept protections for USA National Parks before the month ends and he becomes a shamed duck.

Schumer got him to own the shutdown if it happens. I’m no Pelosi fan but she let Trump talk himself in circles. Republicans know Pelosi owned Trump and the walls he claimed to have built are bollard walls which is what Obama built and called fencing. You climb a bollard wall by standing on a stool and lifting yourself up. Not one of Trump’s prototypes have been deployed. She dared him to put the matter to a vote in the House. She dared him to shut down the government. He tried to convince her she was at a disadvantage with him and she turned it around.
Also, even Administration officials can’t substantiate Trump’s claim that they caught ten terrorists. The State Department claims that while there is a danger, there have been no instances of terrorists getting through the southern border in recent history.
He can’t always lie. He needs politicians helping him. He doesn’t understand Congress and how appropriations work and he’s learned nothing. He is going to get a Chief of Staff that he won’t listen to and keep fumbling this stuff.
Taking on professional politicians in a policy discussion on camera with only stone-faced Pence there was a self-inflicted wound.
The two traitors to America, schitmer and pelosi, just get nasty towards him when the cameras are rolling….
