Phoenix – Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio alleges in a defamation lawsuit that CNN made no effort to correct anchor Chris Cuomo’s erroneous statement that the lawman was a convicted felon.

But CNN says in a statement Thursday that Cuomo corrected his error within minutes of making it on Jan. 10.
Arpaio says the correction has no bearing on the case.
CNN says an online companion story about Arpaio didn’t contain Cuomo’s correction, though it has been updated to include the on-air correction and a written preface that points out Cuomo rectified the error during the same show.
CNN says if it had known of the oversight in the digital posting it would have corrected it immediately.
Arpaio filed the lawsuit Monday against CNN and two other news organizations.
This goon arpaio was found GUILTY of Federal criminal contempt of court and had charges against him for violating election laws, civil rights laws, immigration laws and of inhumane treatment of prisoners, resulting in $150 million in damages paid by him and his sheriff’s dept and county. He’s the poster boy of a nearly illiterate imbecile in public office who regularly violated laws and norms of behavior. To the trumpniki branch davidians he’s a hero. To Hashomer- Since Arpaio was in fact pardoned by El Presidente, it wiped the slate clean; in other words, once a pardon is received, there is no longer any conviction on the books. Therefore, Arpaio is not an ex-convict.
It was a witch hunt by the Obama administration as they abused their power and went after this innocent man because he was a true American that valued our security first and foremost, and went against their anti American executive order by the previous failure in chief.
