Washington – Peres: Israel Should Support Obama Initiative To Engage Iran

    At the White House on Tuesday Photo: Amos Ben Gershom, GPO (Ynet News)Washington – Israel should support U.S. President Barack Obama’s efforts to engage Israel’s arch-foe Iran diplomatically, Israeli President Shimon Peres said on Tuesday after meeting Obama at the White House for talks.

    Peres, whose position is largely ceremonial, told reporters after the meeting that if Obama wanted to engage Iran, “we should be loyal supporters.”

    “If it will succeed, it can be the best thing,” he said.

    Peres start relaxing a bit and remember you did NOT win the election to be the PM, U R the president and act like one. In Israel the President sits comfortably in his office, smiles for the camera and welcomes foreign dignitaries to town.
