Washington – The partial government shutdown has prompted the chief judge of Manhattan federal courts to suspend work on civil cases involving U.S. government lawyers. The order suspends action in several civil lawsuits in which President Donald Trump is a defendant.

Judge Colleen McMahon said in a written order that the suspension will remain in effect until the business day after the president signs a budget appropriation law restoring Justice Department funding.
The Manhattan courts, with several dozen judges, are among the nation’s busiest courts.
In one case involving Trump, a judge last week ruled that a group of people suing Trump and his three eldest children can remain anonymous because they fear retaliation by the president or his followers.
A similar order to McMahon’s has been issued in the Northern District of Ohio.
WOW, THAT IS GREAT, NOW THE DEMOCRATS WILL RUN TO END THE SHUTDOWN, SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO HAUNT TRUMP
Good keep it closed. These so called judged are fake anyhow.
Gotto love the request of those filling lawsuites to remain anonymous. In other words nobody is allowed to investigate if they are saying the truth or are corrupt themselves. Just make up a buba masa and sue. And if it’s against Trump in NYC or tne 9th district you win. And here is a simple litmus test to see if these do called judges are deep state part of the swamp. Did they ever rule in favor of trump or is it always guilty? And by the way the same is true for you anti/ never trumps . And yes it’s true for pro trump guys like myself. If there is nothing you dislike you are biased
