A spokeswoman for the New York state Workers’ Compensation Board, Melissa Stewart, said Friday that Ocasio-Cortez’s Democratic campaign lacked coverage from March 31 to April 30.
She says the fine, first reported by the New York Daily News, has been paid.
Stewart says the coverage is “vital to ensuring workers are protected for on-the-job injuries.”
The 29-year-old Ocasio-Cortez, a democratic socialist, made bettering the lives of working people and the poor in her Queens-Bronx district a key component of her successful campaign to upset longtime incumbent Joseph Crowley in the 2018 Democratic primary.
A message left with her Washington office wasn’t returned.
The Anti-Semite showed her true colors by going after Joe Lieberman. FEH
If Trump was nabbed on an oversight like this, this imbecile would be screaming that this is an impeachable offense. May those with ignorance levels like hers be kept away from positions of authority and power. May those with morality levels like hers be somehow kept away from society.
She’s nearing the end of her 15 minutes of fame. Soon she will be saying and demanding crazier and crazier stuff until she will be the political equivalent of nuclear waste. No one will want to be anywhere near her and her name will be used to scare people to stay away from anyone who has been seen near her or standing by her. The Establishment Democrats are going to sideline her until she learns the rules.
Bernie Sanders in lipstick.
To #1 - You should get your facts staight; Lieberman initiated the feud by going after her publicly, when he was interviewed by the media. She merely responded on Twitter, as would Trump. Your bogus charge of anti-semitism in this case, detracts from those who are bonafide anti-semites, such as Nazis, and other fringe groups.
Hopefully, Congress has good orthodontics coverage.
