Queens, NY – NYPD Detective Dead, 1 Officer Injured, After Being Shot By Suspected Robber

    The shooting happened in the area of Atlantic Avenue and 121st Street in Richmond Hill.

    Both officers were taken to Jamaica Hospital by patrol car, the officials said. One of them who is a detective was pronounced dead after arriving in Hospital according to NY1.

    The suspected gunman was also shot and injured, and was also being taken to the hospital.

    Atlantic Avenue has been shut down between Lefferts Boulevard and 130th Street and police investigate at the scene.

    Mayor Bill de Blasio is heading to Jamaica Hospital.

    There have been four articles about this friendly fire shooting, whereby numerous cops fired over 41 shots at a robber, missing with 40 shots. One of their bullets killed a fellow officer. However, the cops and the DA will cover this malfeasance up, as they usually do, with all sorts of excuses.
