A freshman House member, Ocasio-Cortez hailed the cancellation as a day “dedicated, everyday New Yorkers and their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed.”

Campaigning for president Monday in Cedar Rapids Iowa, Gillibrand said she thinks Ocasio-Cortez’s point is that subsidies given to Amazon were outrageous, not that she didn’t want the jobs in New York.

Amazon faced opposition from some New York officials who were unhappy with the tax incentives the retailer was promised.

Gillibrand told reporters that taxpayers were going to be “left holding the bag” and that shows the deal was outrageous.

I bet under her breath she wished Amazon would have knocked on Cedar Rapids, IA door. With a promise of 25,000+ jobs and all the rest of the money that follows industry.

“Gillibrand told reporters that taxpayers were going to be “left holding the bag” and that shows the deal was outrageous.”

This is the witch that opposes tax cuts, and supports 70% tax rates, and she has the gall to deprive the city area of 25k jobs because “taxpayers were going to be “left holding the bag”?
    Who’s outrageous?!
