Trump tweeted Monday that the media “is working overtime to blame me for the horrible attack in New Zealand.” He adds: “They will have to work very hard to prove that one.”

The gunman in last week’s attacks left a document in which he called himself a white nationalist and referred to Trump as “a symbol of renewed white identity.”

Trump had expressed sympathy for the victims, but played down the threat of white nationalism across the world, saying he didn’t consider it a rising threat despite data suggesting it’s growing.

In the past, Trump has drawn criticism for saying “both sides” were to blame for violence at a deadly white supremacist demonstration.

Unbelievable how even when the media reports how trump is blaming them for incorrectly tying him to the NZ shooting, they tie him to the shooting. Can’t they juet report the story without selectivity throwing in half facts of the past?

So Ironic. Such classic Fake news

Crybaby trump shoots his mouth off every day w racist anti-foreigner rants and hate talk and he’s blaming the media? The media doesn’t blame him. THE WHOLE WORLD BLAMES HIM. His crying that he’s the victim is played out, old news.

There is a huge chasm with fault on on end of the spectrum and blameless on the other.

Within that spectrum, can anyone seriously say that Trump’s rhetoric about immigrants and Muslims in particular does nor embolden and enable all matter of reprehensible behavior, from Archy’s racist rants to White Supremacy and it’s actors.

Alas, you Tea Party Jews hop this dynamic when the context is Rep. Omar’s antisemitism…but are blind to it…and participate in it…when it’s good ole Trumpty Dumpty and his racism.

This is great they moved on from the Mueller report to trying to associate him with David Duke (an Omar supporter). No wonder people don’t trust the media anymore. There is a reason his approval ratings keep on rising while Congress’s keeps on declining.

The person who did the attack wanted to cause people to blame each other, leading to further divisiveness and violence.
