The 79-year-old longtime Democratic party leader testified Thursday that he’s blind in his right eye and facial bones were “smashed” when he spun around and fell against cabinets in his bathroom.
A company lawyer says Reid was misusing the flexible resistance band and the company isn’t at fault.
Reid also offered a glimpse at congressional pressure, saying he knew after initial surgeries that he had to “put up a good front” to show the Senate that he was OK.
He says he later decided he couldn’t run for re-election in 2016.
His hand slipped. This is nobody’s fault save his own.
these bands do tear; I use them and I know. But to become blind by one? Wow that is bad in the extreme….
that got him out of the senate? that’s great I think, I will invest in that company as a sign of gratitude
First off he has no proof that it was a TheraBand as he threw it out and it was probably his brother who beat him up as we can’t trust a word this guy says as he is a proud admitted lying slimeball
I used that device, when a medical professional told me to exercise my right arm with it. i stopped using it, and threw it out, as that device made my arm feel worse.
Thinking of proscribing Theraband to other politicians. Upon further review, forget it!
