They’ve introduced a bipartisan bill to establish the museum in Washington, D.C.
Collins said women have made invaluable contributions to the nation, and that “a museum recognizing these achievements and experiences is long overdue.”
Companion legislation has been introduced in the U.S. House.
In December 2014, Congress created a commission to study the potential for an American museum of women’s history. The commission recommended such a museum, and the bill would create a council to make recommendations on planning, design and construction.
yea we / i would not be here without them but if you give into their full liberal agenda the human race would cease to exist
What about a museum for the contributions that African (& Caribbean) Blacks have made to the United States? Why are women being selected for a museum? Wouldn’t creating a museum for women imply that the existing museums were contributions & achievements that men (to the exclusion of women) made? And the same for a museum for Blacks? It’s a stupid idea; unfortunately voting against it would be turned into accusations of misogyny. PC garbage.
The Smithsonian opened a museum of African-American history a few years ago.
Well, since men and women are from different planets (Mars and Venus), it follows that men and women have different histories.
