New York – Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said that he does not consider Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota to be an anti-Semite, but that she has to do a “better job in speaking to the Jewish community.”

Sanders participated Monday evening in a televised town hall meeting in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, hosted by Fox News Channel.

However, he distanced himself from Omar, who has angered some Jewish leaders and organizations by repeating anti-Semitic tropes, telling meeting moderator Brett Baier when he called Sanders a “staunch supporter” of Omar that “I’ve talked to Ilhan about twice in my life.”

Sanders, like Omar, has been critical of the Israeli government over its treatment of the Palestinians. He said ahead of last week’s national elections in Israel that he hoped that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would lose the election. That did not happen.

“I will do everything in my power, and I hope that every member of Congress will fight not only anti-Semitism, but racism and anti-Muslim activity so that we create a non-discriminatory society,” Sanders said. “But it is not anti-Semitic to be critical of a right wing government in Israel. That is not anti-Semitic.”

The statement was greeted with applause from the participants in the town hall meeting.

Sanders would be the first Jewish president if he garners the Democratic nomination and wins the 2020 election.

On Monday Sanders released 10 years of tax returns, showing that he is a millionaire. He and his wife earned $566,000 last year.

Sanders reminds me of Stephen Wise and Rosenman. Woe to the world if Sanders wins. If I was smart and had the guts of my great parents in laws who left Hungary in 1935 I’d sell my overinflated home and run to Israel. The antisemitism is not going away but will become stronger. All those white people protesting in favor of Omar, they’re just happy they don’t have to do the bidding for antisemitism but have a “friend” in Congress who does.

What the capo means is that she needs to do a better job of hiding her antisemitism.

(Gateway Pundit) – Prominent Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) posted a statement Monday evening on the catastrophic fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France that failed to use the name of the cathedral or even mention that it is a church–or a Catholic church. Notre Dame is French for Our Lady and is a Catholic name

Omar instead described how art and architecture connect people, denigrating Notre Dame as an art museum.”Art and architecture have a unique ability to help us connect across our differences and bring people together in important ways. Thinking of the people of Paris and praying for every first responder trying to save this wonder.”

HE LIES, first underemployment was 4.8 not 4.5 , and he says people in the military are afraid of being exported, but this is not true; if you serve you automatic get citizenship. The main things he says he is Robin Hood take from the rich and give to the poor. The amount of what is wants to take is not there. College to him is and end all; it is not. We need trade schools, for computers, for mechanic, for service. In America after high school you go to college for 4-5 your premed; than med school, the intern then residency. In Brasil you don’t have the university and go direct to med school. This alone can save $75000, to $300,000. Do we need to spend this and give it free on top? When things are free people don’t work for it.
I could see a hand up not an hand out. We could offer incentives for degrees we need and want not just it is free for everybody. You want free healthcare; not me
need after living in England and seeing healthcare workers paying for private insurance. Look what obamacare did to the industry raising deductible to £5000

In 2016, Sanders had the gall to state “My parents were immigrants from Poland”. He didn’t dare state that they were Jews, who came from Poland, as he wanted to downplay his Jewish roots. Hence, someone with his mentality has little connection to anti-semitic bigots, no matter who they are.

Bernie, you just lost yourself a potential voter. (I disagree with his policies, but would have voted for him had he been the lesser evil. Now he’s the greater evil.)
