“Unified Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Jerusalem always has been and always will be ours and it will never be divided again,” said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to the sounds of roaring applause.

“I stand here today… saying what I said in my visit to the US: Jerusalem will never be divided again. Only Israeli sovereignty over the city would ensure the freedom of religion for the three faiths, and it is the only thing that can guarantee that all minorities and congregations could continue living in it,” he said.

President Shimon Peres took the stage before Netanyahu, saying that Jerusalem is the only capital Israel and the Jewish people have ever known.

“Jerusalem’s greatness does not stem from its geography, but rather from its history. No other city in the world has created such an abundance of spiritual and political history.

“Jerusalem is held sacred by half of mankind. It has and always will be Israel’s capital. We never had another and it has never been the capital of any other people.”

Addressing the families whose loved ones lost their lives in the Battle of Ammunition Hill, fought during the Six Day War, the president said: “I know how deep your pain runs.

“It is inconsolable. But here, on this formidable hill we have to look around and say the achievement is as great as the pain. The men who have fallen here saved the most precious thing in our history – they saved Jerusalem.”

there is never any reason2 divide our jewish home. with jersulam the arab prophet himself was not sure wat2 do. he changed the direction they pray a few times. first facing mecca (a metor that fell from sky) then towards jersulam b/c jews faces that direction and then again bak to mecca. it is inportant to know history so the lies are not spread and taught. I heard someone say once “wasnt the jews put in the middle east b/c they were killed a lot in europe” people out there don’t knw facts we must teach them that israel has always been around and jews have always lived there.

BibI can say what he wants. When push comes to shove, Bibi crumbles.

Bibi already ceded Hebron the capital of Israel before Jerusalem. to the Arabs. What’s another capital or two if the Americans are pressuring him.

Bibi set an example for even the US politicians. He stood up to Obama. The next day, finally, the Congress stood up to Obama by refusing him money to close the Gitmo Prison. Hopefully, this will continue.

Is this what you call Eretz Yisroel or Eretz Hatmyeh.?..This country is the shame of the jewish nation except for the hundreds of thousands of yidden who sit learning the Torah and keeping the mitzvehs of the torah…
