State Senator Eric Adams joined the state’s Homeland Security director in Borough Park to assure Jewish community leaders the state is doing everything it can to ensure their safety.

“We are not going to localize our concern, we are going to protect the entire State of New York,” Adams said. “New York State is the target for those who want to hurt this country and we have the best team possible protecting the state at this time.”

“We were definitely reassured that all government agencies, law enforcement agencies are focused on the threats that we face. They’re taking all the precautionary measures to assure the security of our community,” said Gan Yisroel Director Rabbi Aron Ginsberg.

The four were arrested after authorities say they planted what they thought were explosives outside Riverdale Temple and nearby Riverdale Jewish Center.

It’s about time that the Jewish communities united!! Whether it is BP or Flatbush!! We have to stick together!! BP should have invited Flatbush!! Now Flatbush has to make a separate meeting!! That is wrong!!

I disagree with all of the aforementioned negative comments. Whenever people accomplish good things no matter who did it or why they did it, the end result is what matters and if the end result is good for our community then we should applaud them and thank them for what they did. Just thing what you were doing at that hour yesterday and you will realize what thay gave up for your safety.
P.S. for you losers out there upset why you were not invited GET A LIFE !

Stop with all these meetings and get to work. If Eric Adams is so concerned about our schools, let him change the law in Albany in regards to separation church and state, so non public schools could get funding for non education stuff.

The reason nothing is changing in Albany is because they are scared of the Teachers union.

The real way to get security to our yeshivas is by calling all of our State elected officials and ask them to change the law and not by holding press conference and meetings.

Every single shul and yeshiva should spend the next monies coming in to buy the best surveillance systems. It is no longer a good idea. It is a necessity.
