Nashville, TN – A Tennessee district attorney is facing calls to resign after posting several anti-Islam remarks to social media.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations announced Friday that it was asking for Tennessee’s Coffee County District Attorney Craig Northcott to resign. The advocacy group also said it was asking the Tennessee Republican Party to “repudiate” Northcott for posting the remarks.
According to screenshots of the posts, Northcott wrote in a Facebook comment that the Islam belief system is “evil, violent and against God’s truth” and that being Muslim is no different than “being part of the KKK, Aryan Nation, etc.” Northcott made the comments while responding to a Republican candidate’s post in late April.
Northcott’s office did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
Trouble is, he is correct. He should be admonished for making public statements like this, but he is entitled to his opinion. Bigotry is not a crime. Discrimination can be. Reality is that Islam is treated by the world as a religion, but it isn’t. It has no moral code, and their use of religion is a ruse to obtain recognition from the world. In reality, it is a clan of thugs, who cast aside virtually all standards of morality in order to achieve their evil pursuits. Try world domination. Try the moves to impose sharia law everywhere. Try their dependency on violence, terror, murder, dishonesty, and outright lying. Try the nearly 100% rate at which they violate their commitments. Sorry, but CAIR supports all this, and they are partners in crime. Islam supports this, and have a record of celebrating terror, not condemning it. I wish them to become victims of their own evil.
I would hope that elected officials keep their posting hands away from social media. It is degrading.

Shouldn’t resign just say your sorry. Just like the Muslims that right against Jews but than say that they are sorry.
there is a true comparison between the KKK and Islam: both claim to be the group to save the world, both believe in killing non believers, both use terror to get their way, etc…..
