Police are investigating the note, left Thursday, as a hate crime, a spokesperson told the New York Post.

Visitors alerted police to the anti-Semitic note at the Crown Heights museum. The city’s hate-crime task force took over the investigation, authorities said.

Mordechai Lightstone, a Chabad rabbi, wrote on Twitter: “This is just awful. An interactive sign in front of the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights asking people how they would transform the world was defaced with Antisemitic graffiti!”

Governor Andrew Cuomo said ibn a statement about the incident: “We have zero tolerance for anti-Semitism, discrimination or hate of any kind in New York, and no person should ever feel threatened because of their religious beliefs.”

He has ordered the state police to assist the NYPD in their investigation.

Fake News. hitler is DEAD. He killed himself in April 1945 and his ‘reich’ defeated and physically destroyed and occupied by ALLIED FORCES. Americans know that. We just commemorated Memorial Day and will celebrate JULY 4th soon. Do you? BTW over 400,000 JEWISH AMERICANS fought in
WW 2. Relatives in all 8 branches of my family and my wife’s fought in WW 2. Did yours fight? (and not for the other side like the trolls on this site).

Despicable; and the poster should die a meeseh meshuneh. But what crime can he be charged with (if they are able to identify him)? If a crime is committed, and the motivation is directed at a protected class (stupid laws; who cares what’s in the maleafactor’s intent?), then the punishment is substantially harsher. But I don’t see the crime; it’s not even graffiti, because the note was posted in a place which was reserved for comments by visitors.

Just throw it in the garbage and move on. Why do we need to make a news story out of every dumb incident? We’re feeding the trolls.

Clearly the fault of Chabad who walk around Brooklyn saying “Are you Jewish”? stop creating this class warfare and false narrative that your brand is better then everyone else? this is what causes antisemitism. Also chabad preaches and teaches that goyim are irredeemable and are like animals. this isnt kiruv its blatant disrespect and it should be condemned by all rational thinking people. If it is a ego trip youre searching for then stay home.If the Ribunoy shel olam can tell Rebbe Shimon Bar Yochia to return to his cave because he was burning up the world then certainly Chabad who are causing unnecessary hatred among the nations should also stay home and not venture outside to incite antisemitism. Hey, Hashomer, there were 550,000 American Jews, who served in the armed forces of the USA, during World War Two, and not 400,000; secondly, there were not eight branches of the service at that time. There was the Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. The Air Force was not yet in existence, as it was part of the Army Air Corps. Hence, there were four branches of the service then, and not eight.
