Buenos Aires – Argentina’s Supreme Court ordered the reopening of the investigation into a deadly 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, saying a man previously acquitted in the attack should be retried. The court ruled 4 to 2 that the man, Carlos Telledín, a former car mechanic, should be tried again for his supposed role in providing the van that was loaded with explosives that were detonated in front of the community center, the government news service Telam reported.

I guess Argentinians have no protection against double jeopardy.
story makes no sense at all!!! i.e…the ambulance was blown up by a grenade, but yet the front windshield was saved with the visibility of the word “tofes” to compare as a sample to Avi’s handwriting. right!…

I think that the Argentinean supreme court realized that h e was aquited the first time because of government corruption and cover up. That is why they are reopening the case. That probably is meant to be a message that if you do something and are tried and then aquited by a corrupt government you won’t be safe so don’t do it even in the first place.
