New York, NY – A New York Observer reporter today pointed out to the mayor that the economy is improving, and asked whether that cancels out Bloomberg’s rationale for changing term-limits law last fall.

The billionaire mayor had the law changed so that he could run for a third term this year. His chief argument at the time was that New Yorkers needed him to stick around and protect the city from fiscal ruin.
Bloomberg snapped at the reporter that the issue had long been settled and said it was not a serious question.
As he turned to leave the podium, he looked at the reporter and said “you’re a disgrace.”

I know people who work for Bloomberg and everyone says he is arrogant and that they are afraid to approach him many times because they are afraid that if he does not like what is on their mind during a decision making process they will get fired. Case in poin is with the Airforce one flying over New York. Bloomberg’s right hand people knew about the fly over but they did not consult with him for many reasons.
