Louisville, KY - Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan traveled to Kentucky to call on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to bring House-backed gun regulation bills to the U.S. Senate floor for a vote.

Ryan, a Democrat running for president, led a “caravan” Thursday from northeast Ohio to McConnell’s hometown of Louisville.

Hundreds of supporters of gun control legislation gathered at the city’s Muhammad Ali Center to hear Ryan and others.

Ryan says he wants to get “weapons of war ... off the streets.” Nine people were killed Sunday in a mass shooting in Ryan’s home state, hours after a shooting at a Texas Walmart.

U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth of Louisville said Ali’s widow, Lonnie Ali, wanted the rally held at the Ali Center. She says the late civil rights icon would have supported the effort.

Media Scrambling To Hide The Truth About The Ohio Shooter’s Political Leanings

(Tea Party 247) – Well, well, well. What do you know.
Another far-left socialist has committed a heinous act and the media is zipping their lips. The mainstream media and the Democrats they are interchangeable with were quick to blame President Trump for the mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, because that shooter was an alleged anti-immigrant terrorist and naturally, Trump’s common-sense policy of strong border security and sensible asylum laws is totally the same thing as telling angry young men to take up arms and indiscriminately shoot people in a Hispanic-majority border town.
Right.
Meanwhile, they’re ignoring the Dayton, Ohio shooter, who could just as easily be credited to Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders, if we’re going to apply the same twisted logic as it takes to link the El Paso shooter to Trump.
Infowars reports that “Before it was suspended last night, Connor Betts’ Twitter feed made it clear that he was a left-wing fringe extremist. Amongst other things, Betts;”
