The written plea was entered in Miami for 43-year-old Mansor Mohammad Asad, of Toledo, Ohio. His next court hearing will be March 25, with a tentative trial date set for April 5.

Asad remains in custody.

He was arrested Jan. 6 and charged with threats against a public servant, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence to his person. A fourth charge of criminal mischief was added Wednesday.

Police said Asad was arrested after a taxiing Northwest Airlines flight returned to a gate. Authorities said the incident didn’t appear to be terrorism-related.

Asad faces 11 years in prison.

This Arab is dangerous. He is said to be mentally deranged and his heart is filled with hate and no self-control. Deport him to his home country after his jail sentence.
