This “yingerman” as you call him is potentially guilty of major felonies so please don’t call him “a very nice young man”. He nearly killed this little boy. Hopefully he will be punished severely to deter others from driving recklessly.

Why is it that after many bad news items, there is always a yutz who has to testify that they ‘know him personally’ and that he is a ‘good guy’? If they would all be ‘good people’ they would not have done the crimes. The same thing happens during dating.. he is almost always a ‘great guy’ and the ‘best bachur in Lakewood’.. What is said about him when he is an abuser / is violent.. is giving h** to his wife during the divorce, or decides not to give a Get? Mofo’s!

it’s ashame that when a little child or young neshoma is violated, the rachmanos is always given to the perpertrator or violater and not the victim

accidents are called accidents for a reason. If the same incident happened on the upper west side or in Lawrence, the roles above would not be reversed, only the MO’s would be saying what a nice guy the driver really is, the Skverrer would not be writing “The guy needs to be punished”; He’s dangerous and needs to be locked.” (this of course prior to trial based solely on a news report.) Pirkeiu Avos says “Al tadin es chavercha od she’tagiya limkomo.” Ask yourselves if you really want to have to judge it from that perspective, Hashem yirachem. The little boy should have a refuah shelaimah bikorov.

And all the pople that are defending this wreckless sicko driver either don’t have kids or they don’t understand what it is to have a kid hit by a car.

This 35 year old nut deserves 10 years behind bars for the stupidity.

passing three cars, school bus stop signs that were out and then a regular stop sign is indefensible.

How can anyone justify this. Even if he was in a life and death situation, you would have to go 1 mile per hour and honk your horn the entire time as a warning. To just go through stop signs because your in a rush? Did the man think he was in Boro Park?

Dear Shlomo, we know your little body is in terrible pain. We have no idea why this man did what he did. Yes, it was reckless and irresponsible. Yes, he will should be punished for what he did because cars are only to be driven by responsible people who understand that along with the convenience of operating a vehicle comes the responsibility of knowing that a car can become a deadly weapon. There will be people, Shlomo, who defend the driver, who lie about icy conditions when there were none, who claim it was an accident. These people will cry about rachmonis when the only one deserving of rachmonis here is you. We will not listen to these apikorsim. We will daven for you that you should make a full recovery soon.

first , let me start off by saying that this post is in NO WAY anti semetic or anti orthodox, this is based on my observations living in Lakewood.

why is it, that from my perspective, orthodox jews in the town of lakewood seemed to live by a separate set of rules than everyone else when it comes to driving. I cannot count the number of times i have seen reckless driving of people heading into shul, speeding, running stop signs, all in the name of making a minyan? Why is it that mini vans race through town with orthodox children bouncing around, un-belted? Why is is that orthodox teenagers dressed in black hitchhike on dark roads? Why is it that orthodox drivers stop for them, slamming on their brakes in the middle of the road with no concern for the drivers behind them? I can go on and on, but i wont.

I won’t jump to conclusions or call him anything as I don’t know the whole story, however some parents do let their children run loose on the streets and in front of cars. I am not saying this is the case here but before we call this man anything we have to consider that also, maybe the child stepped in front of his car out of nowhere and he couldn’t stop which would not make him a monster.
I”m surprised they’re charging him with anything though because the guy who ran me over 4 years ago was allowed to go home with no tickets or anything even though he had lost his licence 2 years before he ran me over in front of food market international. I guess this cop wasn’t in a rush to get to dunkin donuts like the rest of the lazy fucks in spring valley.
Anyhow I how this baby recovers fully and is able to live his life without having any long term effects or nightmares as a result of this accident.
