Paris, France – Anti-Semitic Acts Soar 75 Percent

fileParis, France – The Jewish Community Protection Service tallied 832 anti-Semitic acts in 2009, up from 474 a year earlier. Most involved graffiti and threatening gestures; about 17 percent involved vandalism and violence.

The group said Wednesday that 354 took place in January 2009 alone, when Israel ended a three-week offensive against Palestinian militant group Hamas in response to rocket attacks from Gaza.

France is home to western Europe’s largest communities of Muslims and Jews. Flare-ups of anti-Semitic acts have often coincided with Mideast violence.

If you are flying transit, my US$0.02 is that Charles de Gaule is a terrible airport for transit. I avoid it if I can.

Yidden in the U.S.: Boycott all French products and services!
Yidden in France: Move away from that place, to Australia, the U.S., Canada, Israel, or elsewhere!

The French were always anti-semitic. I’ve heard enough stories from family members who suffered there even pre-WWII.
I agree with poster #3, yidden living in France should move out.
