This seems like just more of the “Old Boys Club” of the political establishment sticking up for one of their own. I’m not sure who I’m going to vote for but I never heard of Joe Lazar before this campaign. Why does he deserve our vote, because these other guys say so.
    Not so sure.

    they all got it wrong.
in this unique election a single rabbi’s endorsement has more value than 100 politicians.

Im confused. I thought Cymbrowitz represents the Sephardics. And Greenfield works for the Sephardic Federation. I guess Cymbrowitz is going with his heart. Way to go!!!!!!!!!

Why in heaven’s name would anyone lend any importance to the opinion of two state senators. The NY Senate is a backdrop for the lowest, and crassest, political wheeling dealing. As witness when they were deadlocked by party affiliation, and practically shut the place down. No consideration was given to any of the real issues; just the politics and the money and the power.
All that, while the state was, suffering from the effects of the great recession.
Not one person in that body came forward and behaved with integrity. Not one.
Add to that Savino’s impassioned plea for gay marriage. Why is her opinion worth a dime for a guy like Lazar. It should be the kiss of death for his election hopes.
Savino and some Rebbes (lehavdil), they eppes don’t go together.
Out with the whole bunch of NYS Senate guys. Vote out every incumbent. Start fresh with a clean slate.
