The rabbi turned around and went home when faced by the locked gates but the audience started a demonstration which turned into a disturbance. Police came in great numbers from getting worse.

A few hours later, a court order helped the lecture take place, but organizers and those who went home promised to sue for damages. The city contends the lecture was billed as an event on behalf of a sick person and not one for the newly religious.

Many things will stand in the way, but the leaders of the city are making it obvious that they are afraid of this holy man and the “damage” he might do to the youth. L’havdil, it reminds me of Palin against the Democrats and their media puppets.

Maybe next time, this Rav will not lie about the purpose of the event, and not seek to exploit somone’s alleged illness as a fundraising excuse for another cause.

The wonderful Jewish state, that bans a rabbi from speaking about Torah and Judaism but having a gay parade through the heart of Jerusalem is pefectly acceptable. Rasheis smichas golyosainu???? Here in golus America I can’t recall the government ever banning a Torah lecture. But it’s OK for the holy zionist regime, because after all they’re protecting Klal Yisroel… with their chillul Shabbos, with their nevailos and traifos, with their bo’alai niddos and arayos.

Why do they have to go into the heart of the non religious neighborhoods and try to snatch their kids away from their way of life? Seriously, aren’t there enough so called religious people who need help staying religious or just coping with numerous problems? Let the seculars live their lives the way they choose, if you want to change them then send them material by mail, why enrage them? This can backfire with them going into the religious neighborhoods and open the minds of the religious teens to their way of life, you wouldn’t like that huh? Or what if they’d organize a topless protest in Bnei Brak or Jerusalem like they wanted to do in Williamsburg, how you feel about that?

I hope the Clevelander Rebbe, shlit”a, will be notified of this so he can stand up against those who bannd HaRav Amnon Yitzchak. The Rebbe has worked for many year tirelessly doing great true kiruv in Raanana, may Hashem bless him with many more years.

R’amnon yitzchok is not a great spiritual leader. He tries to get people to keep yiddishkiet thru fear.I have met so many disturbed people who have become baal teshuva from him (btw they werent disturbed before just spiritually confused).I believe he is a very good business man who uses Judaism as his USP.

This rabbi compares Herzl to Hitler (may his name be blotted out). I would never attend any lecture he gave.

This is why we need a Jewish Kingdom of Israel even before Moshiach comes (speedily, we hope). There is no way we can justify a secular state that persecutes religious Jews and allows abortion.
