He called the charges trumped up.
“I am not going anywhere,” Jenkins said. “I am not going to resign. I am going to fight for the people in the village and be honest.”
On Thursday afternoon, troopers arrested Jenkins, 49, and his domestic partner, Rochelle Massey, 49, on charges of trademark counterfeiting, criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana. Troopers say they have been investigating Jenkins for four months on suspicion of selling knock-off shoe brands, such as Nike and Timberland Boots, at G-Men Beauty Supplies.
The two were arraigned and released on a $2,500 bail.
i would love to serve on that jury
Have you noticed how guilty people never claim to be innocent, which is perjury. Instead, they always say they “will vigorously fight the charges”!
I hope this guy gets thrown out of office. He is the Mayor along with that weasle John Barbarite that started the foreclosure process on the Landfield Ave. Synagogue. Hopefully they get rid of the rest of the crap in that Village along with the Mayor and his cronies.
