After its weekly meeting in Ramallah and attended by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian cabinet said in a statement that the resolution backs the Palestinian attitude “to clear up these products from Palestinian markets.”

“This act will boost the Palestinian national economy and will encourage the Palestinian national products,” said the statement.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian government based in the West Bank also called on the international community to boycott the Jewish settlement products.

It praised the decisions of Britain, Norway and the Latin American countries to impose restrictions on goods and products made in Jewish settlements in the Palestinian territories.

“We hope that the attitude of these countries will turn into an international consensus,” said the statement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considered the decision of the Palestinian to call on the international community to boycott Jewish settlements products as “a Palestinian incitement against Israel,” reported the Palestinian official Wafa news agency.

We should boycott products from countries that boycott Israel. We should advertise for our people not to go visit those countries that boycott Israel. We don’t want another Hitler. Enough is enough. It is time for Jews to speak up and protest.

a boycott is the least dramatic most civilised way of forcing Israel towards human justice and universal values of elemental civility. the absolute minimum. do not subsidise this unending/endless ethnic cleansing and mass murder, please. i no longer eat red peppers! tarragon! sweet potatoes! etc. -life-denying not life giving foods sourced from occupied and/or ethnically cleansed territories. oh and all my jewish friends eat happily at my table.
