The Israeli team of six post-trauma experts and social workers also includes two Israeli therapists from the Alyn Hospital who have been treating 15 children with severe injuries and amputations at the Sacred Heart Hospital Center (CDTI, Centre Hospitalier du Sacre-Coeur) in Port au Prince in the past few days. One of them, a five-year-old girl whose right leg had to be amputated, was cited in the release as walking on crutches within minutes of receiving them, being treated and taught to stand by the team after she lay helpless for a month.
