Albany, NY – There have been a parade of people going in and out of Gov. David Paterson’s second floor offices today and yesterday, including a few legislators. I’ve heard of at least two–Assemblymen Dov Hikind and David Koon–who have had an audience with Paterson.

Last week’s Times’ story stated that “some lawmakers say that despite the state’s crippling crisis, Mr. Paterson has seldom engaged with them, beyond denouncing them.” Both Koon and Hikind have something in common: they’re open about their support.
“He’s a friend. I like David. I always like to talk to him,” Hikind told me on the floor. “I support him. Period.”He is scheduled to see the governor today – he requested the meeting, and it was granted – but wouldn’t say specifically what he and Paterson will talk about.
Too bad Paterson won’t be there for long.
Nice to know that hikind is loyal to his friends. Good sign in a politician
I support Hikind, the state is in a mess, but he’s there for a short period. It’s all about not placing an inexperienced Kennedy to Clintons seat that has the media at war with him since that day.
Go hikind go
Enough with the new york times trying to influence us to bring in coumo
Every article more that new york times writes I am more convinced that there I would vote for anyone but coumo
Probably getting an endorsement for Lazar! Dov you are the best! Hatzlocha Rabba!
This sounds almost like the story of Achashveirosh. You need special permission to have a meeting with him, and most requests are denied!
