India – For the local Jews who are witnesses to the bloody terror attack on Nariman House, the Jewish outreach centre here, the special court awarding capital punishment to Ajmal Kasab, lone Pakistani gunmen caught alive, was an emotional moment.

“It is a very personal and emotional moment for all of us as we have lost Rabbi Gabi, Riviki (as they were fondly called), who were generous and loving people, and four other Jewish people,” Israeli Consul General Orna Sagiv told PTI.
“We have been closely following the trial from the beginning. We hope it (the death sentence) is executed at the earliest,” Sagiv said.
Though Kasab was not among those who attacked the Nariman house, he was part of the terrorists gang who let loose death and destruction on Mumbai on November 26, 2008.
For Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg, the death penalty to Ajmal Kasab is a welcome step but rues the verdict cannot help in bringing back his daughter and son-in-law, who lost their lives in the 26/11 attacks.
“It feels good that the court has awarded death sentence to the terrorist. But it does not comfort us because Gabi and Rivki cannot come back,” Rabbi Shimon told PTI over phone from Israel.
Wonder what our esteemed (idiotic) posters here think. should the death penalty be applied? He did kill a few more people than Grossman, but arguably in a less brutal fashion. This is an interesting conundrum. Ah never mind, the victims were Jewish this time. Carry on.

I really want execution for that Pakistani handler, who was micromanaging the entire event by phone, the one who said “Shoot her through the head and put the phone close so that I can hear it!”
to number one there is a big diferance here ,the differance is that when grossman was executed no one said that he shouldnt have been punished he did commit a terrrible crime what people were saying was that he should spend life in prison and not have to be executed, and yes they should turtore this chaya rayaah yimachshimovthe same way that the people in the chabad house were killed hy”d and how u dare compare the death of this rashah to grossman and to even suggest that they shouldnt kill him??????? i would love to understand u but i dont if u can try to give me a sensible explanation it would be nice because seemingly you dont seem to be a very sensible indiviual and oh if u have so much “pity” for him maybe u should go convert to islam and oh maybe for the record maybe we shhouldnt kill any arabs that murdered innnocent lives???????????
