Diana was outraged by the allocation, saying the county has a state-of-the-art center in Goshen and doesn’t need another one.

“If nothing else, I got her attention very quickly and we’re on a good working relationship. But the point is, it’s a duplication of service at a time that the economic just doesn’t allow that, and we have, I believe, the most state-of-the-art facility, not only here, but in the Northeast,” he told MidHudsonNews.com.

Diana and Gillibrand met privately after the senator’s City Hall community meeting in Newburgh last Friday evening.

Why is Orange County so concerned with KJ’s Command Center. The NYPD has the most up to date center in the Bronx, yet Hatzolah, Shomrim , and Misaskim all have command centers also.

Just because there is a facility located within a County, it doesn’t mean that facility is the best for a particular community

Hatzoloh doesn’t take any government funding nor bill for insurance reimbursement even if the patient is covered because this would subject Hatzolo to audit review and regulation. Hatzoloh wants to be completely independant of any oversight therefore no grants are requested or insurance billed. The problem with this policy is that Tzedoko dollars are shifted to Hatzolo from the Tzibbur when the could be utilized by other needy mosdos. Every other NY volunteer ambulance company bills for insurance/medicaid/medicare reimbursement and asks for govt grants.

Since taxes are not paid there, the services should not go there..
Buying votes is not the same as paying taxes.
