A group of Neturei Karta members, known for their radical opinions against Israel and Zionism, began chanting at the Shas chairman, “Shegetz” (non-Jewish boy) and “Zionist”. Some punctured the tires of his car and hurled stones at him. The minister escaped unharmed and hid in the rabbi’s yard.

Rabbi Elyashiv is the paramount leader of the Lithuanian haredi community. He is considered a prominent figure in the ultra-Orthodox world and has recently celebrated his 100 birthday.

The haredi violence in Jerusalem began on Monday afternoon after some 80 ultra-Orthodox men were arrested in Jaffa for disrupting construction works on Andromeda Hill.

Dozens of haredi men rioted near Shabbat Square in protest of the arrest of a senior Eda Haredit member in Jaffa. The protestors blocked Bar-Ilan Road, punctured the wheels of buses, set fire to dustbins and called on the police to arrest the man immediately.

mr. yishai should have known better. he shouldn’t have come when there’s such tension going on there. i’m sure his rabbis would find him a Hetter to be menachem ovel over the phone.

So now these chassidim do violence at the home of the greatest Litvashe rebbe of our generation and maybe all times. This seems like the end of civility in EY and the beginning of a civil war. Why don’t the police put down these animals once and for all. What are they waiting for.

Chayos. They will tzee iber der shtrikel (they will soon cause the straw that broke the camels back) Israelis are going to stop putting up with this garbage. Everyone will suffer immeasurably. If they say its not a jewish country and mosheach didn’t come, then why do they want to close off streets and have everyone be Shabbos observers. Why more there in Israel than in America or elsewhere.

Why do they expect more from the Treif Israelis than they expect from the holy american, english, Argentineans etc.

Imagine America allowing another Crown Heights? Thats whats happening now in Yerushalayim. They may as well elect Dinkins there instaed of Meir Purosh and Lupiansky.

Does anyone else see a connection between the school in Emanuel and this incident?
when boys are taught that they are above all, better then everyone else and everyone is just pawns in their imaginary world, this is what is caused. They have no respect for anyone just a tiny bit different then them, even if it’s just his skin color

If this minister was visiting France, Sweden or U.K. and would had his tires slashed and stones thrown at him, VIN would post news about antisemitic, violent attacks against Israeli politicians. Here you have Charedi extremists calling an orthodox Jew “Sheigetz” and physically threatening his life and throwing stones. The time is approaching for Israeli government to deep clean its own house from extremists that are starting to get more brazen and violent against citizens and people who don’t fit into the radical Charedi mold.

I don’t understand something. Yishai and members of the Agudah in the Knesset are representatives of their voters according to the rabbis that support them. Why would they throw rocks at Yishai and not that the rabbis they follow? Something doesn’t smell right here. Perhaps they are police agent saboteurs who pretend to be from Meah Shearim………

What a Chillul Hashem, what a Charpe and Busha!!! As a frum Yid no matter what; one cannot be the cause of a Chillul Hashem – translation of the word Chilul Hashem? If anyone (even a frum Jew) will say ” this is what the frum oilem behaves like”.
I for one would not want to be in these guys shoes when the yom hadin arrives.
There are normal ways to protest.
This way is not sanctioned by any of our Gedolim, these people should be put into Cherem for giving frum Yiden a bad name

Is this the Jewish way? Are these kind of acts what Hashem wants from frum Jews?
I condone protesting the digging up of bones all over Israel. It is disgraceful.
But it is just as disgraceful when frum Jews act with violence. Throwing stones can kill! Burning trash cans and doing other actions that are opposite of what is expected of an am hanifcher will not create a kiddush HaShem as are hopefully the intentions of these individuals.

Imagine, going over to Non-Yiddishe mother and telling her, “you know what, they wanted to insult the Minister in Israel, so they called him a ‘name’, which is usually reserved for your dear child”.

Just to show how much we need to improve our Hisnahagus and attitude to the Umos Ho’olom.

    Oy Lonu L’yoim Hadin.

Hey all bnei Amulek, who make a fuss of and love any bad story about Charedim. Show me the pictures. Where are the pictures? I want to see Charedim throwing stones. And not just few of them. According to popular understanding expressed in almost all of the comments, it is something so usual for NK and Charedim to throw the stones that you should have the pictures. Or… Maybe you just another tube of zionist propaganda.

For all of you illiterates. Go out and buy Hertzel’s book called “yiddenshtadt”, and read it for yourself !you will be amazed of the hate to Toirah and yiddishkiet the true zionists were and still are. And you will come to grips that the only things that stands in their way of erasing any “toirah true jews” of the so called jewish land…is the violent backlash of the real toirah defenders that we know as KANOIEM!

Time for the government to arrest everyone who throws these rocks. Throw them in jail for a few years an make them ineligible for welfare benefits for 10 years.
