Richmond, VA – Gov. Bob McDonnell said today that he did not know that the man he appointed as chairman of his government-reform commission had created, almost 40 years ago, a list of Jews in a federal government agency at the request of the Nixon White House.

Some Virginia Democrats have jumped on Fred Malek’s appointment, with one Jewish state legislator calling it “deeply disturbing.“
In 1971 Malek—a Northern Virginia businessman and longtime national Republican leader—was asked by the Nixon administration to compile a list of Jews working in the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
President Richard M. Nixon suspected that what he called “a Jewish cabal” was out to get him.
Malek has admitted he made a mistake when he helped compile the list.
McDonnell said on his monthly appearance on WTOP radio that he didn’t know about that background but that it was 40 years ago and “he made a mistake.“
“He’s apologized and atoned for it,“ McDonnell said, adding that he’s known Malek for five or six years and knows his character.
The governor’s office previously released a statement from Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, who said attacks on Malek as anti-Semitic are unwarranted.
He was also the author of the “Malek Manual”, the Nixon plan to subvert the career civil service with loyalists. .
How come these lazy democrats are not screaming about all the commies in the Obama regime???
Isn’t Malek himself Jewish?
And the Ribono Shel Olam made it so Nixon got thrown out while the Jews in the civil service finished long and successful careers, retired, and collected their pensions.
Yidden, our G-d is the Master of everything!
Um, is it just me or does this guy’s name have undercurrents already?
Don’t worry, Mr. Anonymous, you don’t have to beg for anything from anyone nor do you have to give anything to anybody. Ever.
You’re your own man. Enjoy.
When Malek was a bigshot in the Republican party, under the administration of George Herbert Walker Bush (#41), Bush referring to Malek stated, that “there is not a prejudiced bone in his body”. Essentially, Nixon thought that the Jews working in the Labor department wanted to make him look bad, by inflating the monthly statistics which showed the percentage of Americans who were unemployed. Nixon was paranoid, and always thought the Jews were out to get him. In fact, during the long Watergate nightmare, Nixon stated “those Jewboys (in the Justice Dept.), are out to get me”. When Nixon visited Israel in 1974 (shortly before he resigned), some demonstrators held up signs which read “We are all Jewboys here”.
Timche Ehs Zeicher aMalek!
