Baku, Azerbaijan – Jewish Community Upset over Anti-Semitic Graffiti

Baku, Azerbaijan – The Jewish community in Baku is disturbed over anti-semitic graffiti that was spray-painted on several buildings in the area.

Evda Abramov, the only Jewish member of the Azeri Parliament, said that the graffiti could have been inspired by Iranian special services, who is Azerbaijan’s southern neighbor and major trade partner, and they are believed to be irritated by Azerbaijan’s diplomatic relations with Israel.
The city of Baku promised to paint over the graffiti.
