New York – Legislators Target Religious Vandalism

New York – Two state legislators are pushing to make vandals pay a heftier price for desecrating holy ground.

State Assemblyman George Latimer, D-Rye, and state Sen. Jeffrey Klein, D-Bronx, are proposing a law to increase the criminal penalties for vandals who steal from or vandalize houses of worship and other religious institutions.
