Rye Brook, NY – Curtis Sliwa, dressed in full king regalia, was just thrown out of the Democratic convention, accompanied by a phalanx of security and reporters who recorded his anti-Cuomo rant. According to Politico Sliwa was shouting, “Are you taking me to Gitmo!” as he was pushed through the glass doors a flight down from the ballroom where the candidate spoke.

Sliwa has been agitating against the AG for some time, handing out fliers at a recent Cuomo fundraiser that blamed him for the mortgage crisis and writing a DN OpEd about how he supported Mario Cuomo but “wont be fooled again.”

Curtis was pro Jews and crime victims in BP before it became politically popular. He formed citizen patrols before Shomrim. He rode the subways in the middle of the night when they were graffitti filled and dangerous. Maybe he profited somehow politically but I believe his original motivations were pure. He will one day be recognized for the his righteousness.

Gimme a break. He used to pull stuff like this all the time, before he was successful on the radio. Now he’s taken a step back (because of the greed and stupidity of WABC) and he has to fall back on his old tricks.
