Columbus, OH – Can’t Find A Job? Got An Idea!

    4

Columbus, OH – A man in Columbus robbed a bank, then handed over the money to a guard and waited for police to come and arrest him.
The perp handed the teller a note demanding cash in an envelope. The teller gave him four $20 bills and pushed a silent alarm. At that time the perp walked over to the security guard standing in the lobby and handed him the money and told him it is your day to be a hero.

In court, the perp Timothy J. Bowers told the judge, that a three-year prison sentence would suit him, and the judge obliged. “At my age, the jobs available to me are minimum-wage jobs. There is age discrimination out there,” Bowers, who turns 63 in a few weeks, told Judge Angela White, I have been able to find only odd jobs after the wholesaler I made deliveries for closed, so I walked to the bank.
The judge told him: “It’s unfortunate you feel this is the only way to deal with the situation.”

Bowers pleaded guilty to robbery, and a court-ordered psychological exam found him competent.
Prosecutors had considered arguing against putting Bowers in prison at taxpayer expense, but they worried he would do something more reckless to be put behind bars. “It’s not the financial plan I would choose, but it’s a financial plan,” prosecutor Dan Cable said.

well, at least he will have a roof over his head, clean clothes, and 3 meals a day. he won’t freeze in the winter or worry about where he can go to the bathroom. sounds like a smart guy to me. and easier than waiting in line for food stamps
